I'm preaching to myself

Literally, when I'm inspired to help someone else... all of the sudden my answers seem to appear in what I'm saying to them. I'm all going on as if their problems are the easiest in the world and then its like, hold on a second, your problem is pretty much the same as mine... and wow i needed to hear that. Am I so cocky that I can't accept answers unless they come in the form of my own voice... scary. I hope not. Anywho.

I went from sailor to Quiltgirl. I would wear it with red boots and cream tights......aaaaaaaaaand a nice cardigan. I love cardigans.

Tears

Someone walked away from me today. It made me cry when I didn't want to; I cried because I wanted to move on anyways. I guess I walked away too?


Then I watched "My Sister's Keeper" which pretty much sucked me dry of any tears I may or may not have possessed in my physical being. WHEW! Good movie though... very well done!

My apologies for the melodrama... I gave up comfort eating so the feelings have to go somewhere! lol.

Sailor Chic?!

I'm in love with the high contrast thin stripes (especially navy and cream.... YUM) as well as those really awesome gold vintage navy-esque buttons. Combining the two with some really adorable black jackets and/or accessories involving gold buckles (OR this sweet action pocketwatch necklace) really makes me glad... full of joy... like that really dorky thing that Harold from Red Green does when he's excited... almost a laugh... not quite a snort...
